Hi simonwong1989,

Not every A8N owner needs the fan replaced so to have one that needs a second is unusual. I'd suggest checking the internal case temperature and ensure that there are no un-necessary holes into the case allow dust entry.

A fan is of course on it's way to you.

What was that about a Zalman burning the chip? I wouldn't have thought a HSF that actually made contact with the chip would do that, especially as the fans recommended by Asus are a simple small affair.
