Default Bisoncam Problem

I have a MSI GX700 Laptop but whatever I try cannot get the Camera to work, keep getting box stating "do not have hardware to run this". Anyone got any ideas how to remedy this.

Many thanks, Linda

It sounds like the drivers have not been installed.

Go into the device manager and see if you have any warning symbols showing. You should find a copy of the drivers in the C:\DRIVERS folder.

Hi ladylinda7,

I don't think the C:\DRIVERS system is used with notebooks so unfortunately you are unlikely to find drivers there.

It does sound like either the drivers are not loaded, or the hardware is not recognised. Do you see anything appear in Device Manager when it is plugged in?

Davey

Hi Linda, there are 5 buttons along the top (middle one is POWER button), to the right is WI-FI and P1 (?), to the left is INTERNET and next to Power is WEBCAM. Looks like an eye. Press this once to activate loading of software. When loaded, click on Bisoncam icon on desktop. it should be working now. If you press the button (next to Power) again, after you have finished looking at yourself ,an icon pops up at bottom right corner with a cross on it, this tells you that you have switched it off. When you want to use it again just press the button, then click icon on desktop. hope this works for you ,
