Default Best CPU for A8N-VM?

Can anyone advise what the best CPU is for the A8N-VM please? I would be particularly interested if anyone has had success with a AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core.

My present CPU is an Athlon 64 3500+ which is getting maxed out all the time.

Thanks.

Baz

Hi baz2126,

You can find a full list of CPUs for the A8N-VM along with BIOS version requirements here.

It looks like there is still room for a noticeable improvement in speed via the CPU upgrade and near the bottom, there is a list of the dual-core CPUs supported too.
