Hi bill11uk,

Did you need to swap them around to get an output? Or are you using the system with both the cards in place, and the monitor connected to the lower card?

Also what were the symptoms 2 weeks ago?

Davey

Unhappy

I have left the cards as they where originally installed
Using the system with both the cards in place, and the monitor connected to the lower card
What started 2 weeks ago was that the monitor would stop displaying for a while and start displaying normally at the weekend the monitor stopped display completely I tried another monitory no luck . Monitors have always been plugged into top card right hand socket looking from rear
I also check the nVidia control software and it no long show options for SLI or even 2 monitories etc The bottom card seem to be the only one working and that seem in a a basice config Also this evening at start up there was a smell of overheating components

Test one card at a time by taking the other one out. Also look at the fan/heatsink on the gfx card, is it clogged up with the dust?

Also how the temps of the card?

Default switched

I have switched the cards around so the faulty (dead), card is in bottom slot and Bottom one (working), in top slot Seem connections power etc are OK thus pointing to card being dead

Hi bill11uk,

I'll arrange to have an engineer come out with a new pair of cards. Can I assume the contact details are same as we have on record from purchase?

If not could you PM me the address and telephone number?

Davey

Sorry about that, had a really busy day yesterday.

I personally use hwmonitor, as it gives me the temps of pretty much everything in my pc and is reasonably accurate.
