Regardless of what Davey says if there is anything important on your computer - backup!

You never know whats going to happen when sticky hands get inside your box of dots.

As Davey has posted on these forums several times in the past, if you require an urgent answer to a query you are best telephoning the support helpline. Davey may not pick up your post for a day or more depending how busy he is on other areas of the business.

To answer your question, as per the other replies it is always advisable to back-up the computer at regular intervals and especially if the computer is being returned for repair. If all Mesh need to do is swap the graphics card then your data should be safe however if another problem is then discovered in testing it may be necessary to either replace the hard drive or format and re-install windows so a back-up is recommended as a precaution.

Hi purps,

We cannot take responsibility for the data unfortunately, and if we did I would strongly recommend that you backup the data in any situation that involved the system being returned for repair anyway.
