I am new to Mesh Computers having just bought a new desktop, I am also looking for a notebook and noticed the Asus Eee PC701. Does anyone have any first hand knowledge of this product and what is the general feeling of it or any other notebook supplied by Mesh.

In all honesty it depends on what you require from a laptop, but if you were initially considering an Eee Pc 701 then virtually any modern laptop regardless of price will provide more power and storage. For a basic laptop this one will do: Here. This will be fine for web browsing, word processing, watching video and basic computing but isn't suitable for gaming or graphically and processor intensive uses. A web-cam is also not included.
Let us know what you will be using the computer for and what features you require and it will be easier to make a recommendation. |

In laptops the x71sl is getting good reviews. Depends whether you want to pay for blu-ray MESH Computers - Award Winning Review PCs Since 1987 - ASUS X71SL |
