OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-8500 Reaper HPC Edition Dual Channel Kit [OCZ2RPR10664GK] from Overclock.co.uk - Overclocking, Performance Computer Hardware, PCs and Laptops

Would this work on the ASUS M4A78-E Mainboard - AMD 790GX Hybrid CrossFireX- AM2+ Phenom™ II, DDR2 - ATX?

Also should i look at uograding the PSU as its only 700w?

Cheers

IMHO under normal computer use - including gaming - you will find very little difference in performance between the memory currently installed and the one you are considering upgrading to. In most circumstances it is the amount of memory that effects performance more than the speed.

If you are interested in benchmark results then spend more of your hard earned otherwise stick with the original specs.

Cheers for the update.

I'm quite happy with the spec i've ordered and pretty sure it should handle some of the latest games?

I like playing MMO's and was just wondering really if there's anything that i could buy at a later date which would enhance performance tbh?

It will easily handle all of the latest games.

IMO dont worry about benchmarks, at the end of the day they really dont meant anything. Its the performance in games that count and I imagine your pc will not have a problem with that. Also its a very high spec pc so I doubt you will need to upgrade it anytime soon.

As soon as you get it, install some games and enjoy it.
