Hi Davey,
Firstly thanks for sorting out the replacement of my graphics card. The new card was installed and is now working great.
Now for the bad news. As soon as the new card was fitted I noticed the sound wasn't working. I tried the usual of updating the drivers, trying a new pci slot etc but nothing has made any difference. My guess is that the engineer who first attended to swap graphics cards somehow damaged the card; as he was trying to remove the graphics card with the sound card still in place even though space was limited to say the least.
I previously reported this in my original thread
here but it obviously hasn't been picked up (my bad for not making a new thread sooner). At present I am able to get sound from the on-board so it's not a major problem although I would obviously like to get it sorted.
Would I be able to return the existing card to you and you send me out a replacement for me to fit to save another on-site visit?
