I have Vista Premium on my system and I was wondering if I installed a 2nd hard drive could I install windows xp on it and run these systems side by side. The reason being that my PDA will not work on Vista and their is no updates for it also some games I own.

Hi delboy

Yes you can install 2 OS's on seperate hdd's but you will have to choose from which hdd you want to boot from (on start-up). You will not be able to run both OS's at the same time.

It is possible to dual boot XP and Vista (while Vista is installed first) on one hard drive. Here is the link: How to dual boot Vista and XP (with Vista installed first) -- the step-by-step guide | APC Magazine and How to Dual Boot Windows XP and Vista - SysChat
