I always liked Raid on Bungeling Bay. Also Impossible mission. I don't think a single game could win it though, perhaps with the exception of elite, but then that was a beeb game really.

Jeff Minter did a lot of good titles for the 64. One game I do remember well though, and it was no where near as good on the 64 as it was on the Vic20, was Radar Rat Race, a true classic of the old school, vailable at the time on a cartridge!

It would have to be Mercenary, deffo, were you could fly around in a piece of cheese lol. Great game that, almost has good has Elite. I know it was first brought out on the Atari 800 but the C64 is were it became popular.
