Hi,
Ive just bought a new computer from mesh, the MESH Computers - Award Winning Review PCs Since 1987 - XGS PII Dragon with the following modification: ASUS M4A78-E Mainboard - AMD 790GX Hybrid CrossFireX- AM2+ Phenom™ II, DDR2 - ATX AMD Phenom™ II X4 955 Black Quad Core Processor AM3 (3.20GHz, 8MB Cache) I know the spec is a huge upgrade compared to my current one, but I am wondering whether it will run World of Warcraft quicker or whether its the internet connection speed that determines the smoothness that it runs? Does anyone know much about world of warcraft and how it runs? Thankyou |

The new set up you have will have no problem running World of Warcraft.
My current pc which is old AMD 64 3000 (currently waiting for new PC) has no problems running WoW but if i'm honest i hated the game. I can see why it appeals to a lot of people but for me the graphics are too cartoonish for my liking. If you haven't already bought it, when you get your new pc delivered, download the trial and give it a whirl, I'm currently trialing Everquest 2 and enjoying the experience a lot more. |

Ive been playing WoW for nearly a year now
![]() I was hoping that my new pc would be able to run it smoothly as some of the high level raiding, etc tends to lag right now. So I hope the new pc will fix this problem, fingers crossed =) |

Aw I play on Lightbringer and thats a "Normal" server so ive got both, but used to mainly be Alliance.
I have an 80 Nelf hunter, but have now started as horde and am leveling a warrior (currently level 40). Along with many other alts ranging from level 30-70 |
