Default Broken Promises! Where's my PC!?

I placed my order on the 14th April. I duly waited my 14 working days and expected a PC on the 6th or 7th of May.
No show.
Not only a no-show, no comment from Mesh
I contacted them on the 11th and they said "sorry, AMD haven't sent the CPU - should have it by Friday of this week and the machine with you by mid/end of next week"

So, I know Mesh build good PC's - I've had one before - I thought, ok, I'll wait.

Next week, Nothing! I contact Mesh again and another delay - still no CPU's apparrently (although they have them in their pre-built "ready to ship" models)
Promises on the 14th of May that the CPU's will be in at the end of the week.

This Monday just gone, I contact Mesh again (I have to contact them as they never make the effort to keep me up to date) and they say "Yes, the chips are in, we'll build and get it to you as soon as possible."
So, just how long is "as soon as possible?" I'm writing this having checked my mail and no notice of shipping yet, which means it won't be with me at the end of this week, some 27 working days later!

Unsurprisingly, they took over £1000 off me nearly six weeks ago!

I am so unimpressed with the constant broken promises, lack of communication and complete contempt that Mesh has shown towards me as a paying customer (in a recession). I suggest you check up on your orders and make your own minds up but if you haven't ordered yet, you might seriously want to consider going somewhere else!

Come on, Mesh, salvage some pride and sort this out. It's really, really poor service from suppliers of such good machines!

Thumbs down

I know how you feel. I ordered mine on 27th April and I'm still waiting. Two weeks ago I was told it would be here this week. On Monday I was told it would be here by tomorrow, and today I've been told it won't be until next week. Reason given (after I asked) - late delivery of processors from AMD. Apparently they are expecting them tomorrow. I was told my machine was being assembled, so I guess it's just sitting there waiting for it's CPU then?

Reading the T&Cs, all you can do is cancel if your order isn't delivered within 30 days of payment.

I've paid for a machine and will have waited at least a month before it arrives.

Not a happy customer at all.

Hi Bluuuz / Six,

Whilst I can sympathise with your situation I really wish new users would avail themselves of the search function, or even simply browse the forums for a few minutes.

Had you done so you will find that we are unable assist you here regarding those types of queries and also that the forum is not provided as a ground for venting your frustration, regardless of how justified it might be.

The sales department can be contacted via 0870 062 2180 or via sales@meshcomputers.com

Davey
